Facebook Friend #14

Dear Nick Hoelmer,

The first thing that comes to mind, is that you replaced me at my old job since I had to move on to gain "real-world" experience. You worked with my best friend and he told me the funniest story. You two were cleaning a room, and you being the smartest and coolest thing to come through (Dub-town), you decided to call 911. When the cops came running to the room, how did you play it off? You said, "Oh I was just cleaning the phone." ... ... really?... Let me get this right, you had the phone off the hook, and then it just so happened that you only hit 2 numbers in the correct sequence when cleaning the phone...

So your profile status states, "Enjoy life, You won't regret it." I can't deny your saying, but I don't like the fact that you have to state it. Shouldn't we all enjoy life without having to connect to a phrase or quote? They are nice to remind us on that we are living that way, but to have a close connection to a certain quote/phrase is not the way to live life. Why you may ask, because we aren't living our life by following someone else's thoughts or ways of living. We are all capable of connecting to different things but we should always keep in mind to have the power to take a step back and realize where we are in life and if that's where we want to be. If not, then that is when you make YOUR own changes.

Oh and I noticed you are a Privateer (Private school kid) and this is why this ends now. BOO PRIVATEERS!

Cheerio,

Alastar Swift

PS. The one quote that I can NOT stand would be, "Live life without regrets." Can you really live life without regrets? I don't believe that you can. I have regrets but I'm not going to dwell on them, but it's called you took a chance that you thought was worthwhile. There are no mistakes, only lessons learned.
